My client hired me to create 2D assets and animations from concept to completion for a humorous mobile game project, for release on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store on a very tight deadline prior to the election.
I initially iterated concepts and, upon approval, used Adobe Animate (Flash) to create the majority of non-UI in-game art, including animations, backgrounds, placeable assets, a final boss, and icons. I also hand-animated (frame-by-frame) a full intro animation cutscene for the game, which runs over 30 seconds.
Despite a timezone difference, our team met daily on Slack and Discord for stand-up in order to communicate and stay on schedule.
